Team
Amélie and Kyle are partners in life and adventure and are your guides at BCMG. We have a combined skill set that sets us apart from other operations.
Amélie makes skiing look easy in any condition and is only matched by her smile. Knowledgeable and strong in the mountains you will enjoy your time with Amélie whether hiking and running, on a course, skiing or enjoying her second-to-none sourdough bread!
Kyle has an extensive background in both skiing and climbing on an international scale. He has taught advanced ground rescue and mountain travel for the last ten years to various industries and user groups, and guides full-time in summer and winter. Kyle is passionate, strong, and humble. He does not make very good sourdough bread!

Mountains can teach us so much about who we are. I continue to be humble with their teachings and love to share those experiences with others. Over the last 15 years I have spent my time climbing and skiing all over the world as well as teaching advanced mountain travel and rescue to SAR groups and recreationists. Avalanche Forecasting continues to keep me busy and constantly learning.

She truly enjoys all aspects of the mountain environment from trail running in the depths of the valleys or along jagged ridge tops, to painting ski lines on a fresh mountain canvas, to exploring steep rock. In the winter you can find Amélie Heli-skiing at CMH Bobbie Burns and taking clients into the backcountry in and around Golden. During the summer she is a guide for Bobbie Burns’ summer program as well as taking clients hiking on the many trails in the Columbia Valley and beyond.
