BC Mountain Guides offer’s backcountry experiences to anyone who wants to get out. We can deliver beginner days where the backcountry is new to you or your ability level needs some coaching and guidance. Or if you have strong skills as a skier/boarder but need the guidance of a well traveled and experienced guide we can get amungst it and go shred. We ski in all ranges from the Canadian Rockies to the Coast Mountains and offer International trips. Golden is the place for fantastic Backcountry skiing off the local ski hill, Rodgers pass and some hidden gems that come from years of exploring. Steep Skiing Camps and Ski mountaineering
These programs are for the advanced skier/rider looking to get amungst it. We will set our sites on bigger objectives and longer days. This program is aimed at 3 days minimum so that we can evaluate your skills to insure you can handle the bigger days and terrain and then move forward with progressing your skills to achieve bigger goals.
Mountain Education
Learn the skills needed to safely ride the backcountry. Not only are these skill needed for your own safety but they are meant to build you up to be a strong member of any group heading out into the backcountry. Decision making, situational awareness and technical skills are just a few tools needed to be a strong team member.
